PORTAVISE® PRODUCTS ARE OFFERED EXCLUSIVELY TO A MANUFACTURER.
The development of the PORTAVISE® products, includes H13 tool steel, with high production, close tolerance tooling for the die-cast metal parts, the plastic injection molds, vacuum form molds, machine parts and plating. Obtaining quality in low quantity in these areas took considerably longer than I anticipated. Accessory parts needed to have a light press fit so they wouldn't fall out of a kit when the portable unit was carried. The patents also took a long time. When the products were ready for sale, they were offered to the public limited to hobby shows, club meetings, and personal or business acquaintances to establish acceptable retail prices. The short of a long story is, I wasn't getting any younger to then put facility, employees and a marketing program together. The least expensive kit marketed is the home, hobby or service business vise and base kit which sold well on a trial basis and should do well with infomercials. Sales fit a broad range of marketing endeavors for multiple large retailers. My offer inclusions are as follows.

Computer Aided Drawings (CAD), and mechanical hand drawings, of all components and CAD drawings from China in metric sizes of the vise only, without the jaw panels or base.

Components are available for manufacturing vises and kits except the Punch Press. All kits and the Punch Press (press) use the same basic vise casting but the press uses proprietary components in the form of a functional prototype. The parts will be ample for start-up manufacture of between approximately 300 units (Watch Service Center) to 700 finished units (Hobby, Business Kit), depending on which kits are using the parts in the process.

Electronic Time Corporation of Colorado Inc., dba Portavise® Inc,(PV) offers a license to manufacture and market the foregoing products on a bid basis. The bid is suggested to include 95% of the bid on a cash basis and 5% as a royalty fee on gross sales. Opportunity has been presented by manufacturers or distributors who desire to separate certain products. It is preferred that (PV) authorize a single manufacturer an exclusive agreement for PV products and refer these solicitations to the exclusive manufacturer. The IP owner also wishes to work with the exclusive manufacturer to develop other products that fit the PV platform. This basic proposal lacks legal advise and interpretation. At such time PV considers a manufacturer for the products, legal opinion and contracts will be necessary.
